Paul "Ferg" Ferguson

Paul Edward "Ferg" Ferguson, 70, of Decatur, TN passed away November 11, 2024. Born November 17, 1953, son of the late Paul and Lou Etta Couch Ferguson.

A 1971 graduate of Meigs High School, Paul, best known as "Ferg", retired from Shaw Industries after 30 plus years of service. He was an exceptional mechanic, who spent many hours working on old cars, as well as enjoying boating and fishing. He was good hearted and willing the help anyone in need.

In addition to his parents, Paul was also preceded in death by three nephews, Jamie Ferguson, Mark and Dale Grissom.

Surviving to cherish memories of happy times are one brother, Connaway Ferguson; four sisters, Barbara (Billy) Mills, Kathy Mizer, June Scroggins, and Linda Matthews. Other survivors include two nephews, Ian Mills and Bradley Witt; two nieces, Eva Hughes and Crystal Ferguson, as well as several great nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life for "Ferg" will be held at a later date.
