Paul Hawkins, age 70 of Cleveland, departed this life on Thursday morning, January 20, 2022 at his residence. Born on January 30, 1951 to the late Columbus Boyd and Nettie Belle Hawkins, he was a native and lifelong resident of Bradley County and was of the Baptist faith and retired from Whirlpool. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening and spending time with his family and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Luther Hawkins; and his sisters, Betty Killian, Wanda McNabb, and Francis Cross. Left behind to cherish his memory are his daughters, Gina Neely(Rodney) and Missy Richesin(Chris); grandchildren, Ginger Ellis(Blake)and Jordan Neely; brother, J.W. Hawkins; sisters, Susie Dorlon, Brenda Clayton, and Barbara Clayton; as well as three great-grandchildren; several nieces , nephews, and extended family and a host of friends. A Celebration of Life and Home going for Paul Eugene Hawkins will be held at 3p.m. Tuesday, January 25,2022 from the Cleveland Chapel of Companion Funeral Home with Pastor Matthew Harris officiating. Interment will follow in Center point Baptist Church Cemetery with Rodney Neely, Chris Richesin, Chucky Torbett, Blake Ellis, Jayden Castelow, and Jason Neely serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 11 AM until the time of the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
