Patsy Ruth Goda

Patsy Ruth Goda, 92, of Cleveland, TN passed away on March 5, 2022. She was born on September 27, 1929 to the late Dwight and Vianna Daniel. Patsy was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She loved music and it was very important to her. Patsy was a gifted musician who played gospel hymns on organ and piano for many churches in the area.

In addition to her mother and father, she is preceded in death by her husband John Goda Jr.; daughter Donna Jacobs; grandson Zach Johnson; son in law Mike McFather.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her children: Darla McFather and Doug Jacobs Jr. (Bridget); sisters: Carnell Cooper and Delilah Daniel; aunt Wanda Coffey of Cincinnati, OH; stepdaughter Rosemary Ramsey (Tony); grandchildren: Nichole Geren (Eric), Natasha Walker (Bart), Morgan Wells (Jerry), Stacie Jones, Steven Kline (Ashley), Yada McDaniel (Micah); Ryan Ramsey (Ela) Delores Cannon (Wayne), Shad McCrary, and Chad McCrary; great grandchildren: Jessi Whaley (Ethan), Emma Grace Geren, Kaiya Walker, Nicolai Wells, Emma Marie Wells, Chailee Jones, Cannon Jones, Jacklynn Jones, Abigail Kline, Emberly McDaniel, Dakota McCrary, and River McCrary.

A celebration of Patsy’s life will be held at 12pm on Wednesday March 9th at the Cleveland Chapel of Companion Funeral Home with visitation from 10am until 12pm prior to the service. Pastor Gary Higgins will be officiating. She will be laid to rest following the service at Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery.
