Patsy Ruth Cantrell

Patsy Ruth Cantrell, 83, of Cleveland, TN passed away on November 29, 2015. She was born on September 21, 1932 to the late Carl and Jessie Ramsey. She was a lifelong resident of this area. Patsy grew up at First Baptist Church in Cleveland and attended there for many years, visiting other churches in her later years. She worked as a teacher’s assistant in the Bradley County School System and founded the library at Black Fox Elementary.

In addition to her mother and father, she is preceded in death by her husband Jack Cantrell.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory two daughters: Lisa Pemberton (Jim) and Cheryl Schwarz (Ray) of New Smyrna Beach, FL; son Craig Cantrell; four grandchildren: Shasta Thompson; Erin Melhorn, Brian Pemberton, and Carl Pemberton; and five great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00pm on Thursday December 3, 2015 at Companion Funeral Home located at 2415 Georgetown RD NW, Cleveland, TN 37311 with Rev. Steve Morgan officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00pm until the 6:00pm service time
