Patricia Kindred

Patricia Ann Kindred, age 81, of Spring City, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on December 30, 2024. Born on July 4, 1943, in Chattanooga, Tennessee, she embraced life with a spirit of celebration and warmth that touched all who knew her.

Patricia proudly graduated from Technical Business School and dedicated many years to being a loving homemaker. She created a nurturing environment for her family, and her devotion continues to be felt by her loved ones. Patricia was a passionate gardener, with a particular love for flowers, which flourished in her yard at her previous home in Ooltewah, Tennessee. Her garden was a reflection of her vibrant personality and a testament to her nurturing spirit.

Patricia shared her life with cherished canine companions, never being without the joy and love that her dogs provided. Her bond with her pets was a source of comfort and happiness, mirroring the love she extended to her family and friends.

She is survived by her beloved daughter, Christle Durham; her grandson, Cory Dosier; her great-grandson, Forest Lee Dosier; and her great-granddaughter, Luna Lopez. Patricia will also be fondly remembered by her niece, Dawn Holder; her niece, Amy Phillips; her nephew, Daniel Kindred; and her nephew, David Kindred. Additionally, she leaves behind her devoted son-in-law, Larry Durham.

A celebration of Patricia's life will be held at the Mack Shelton Parlor of Companion Home on Saturday, January 18, 2025. Family and friends will gather 3:00 to 5:00 to honor her memory and share stories of her enduring spirit. A Memorial Service will immediately follow at 5:00.

Patricia will be lovingly remembered for her nurturing heart, her green thumb, and the boundless love she had for her family and four-legged friends. She will be dearly missed but will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Patricia was preceded in death by: Thomas Kindred, Francis Kindred, Larry Kindred, Tommy Kindred, Dale Kennedy, Jeffery Kennedy, Albert Cullum Kennedy.
