Patricia Geren, The Butterfly Lady, departed this life on Sunday, February 13, 2022 at her home. Born in Utah on March 26, 1945 to the late Clarence and Ruth Fox, she was a lifelong resident of Bradley County and a member of Elkmont Baptist Church. She loved hand embroidering, fast cars, traveling, camping and spending time with her family. She loved her church and her community, making 3,000 masks during the pandemic.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Geren; and son, Ed Geren.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her daughter, Pam Ledford (David), daughter –in-law, Kandy Geren; grandchildren, Chris Ledford (Amy), Autumn Monroe (Casey), Justin Ledford, Danielle Tate (Chris), Todd Geren (Beth), Travis Geren (Destiny), Eric Geren, Melody Geren, Brian Easterly, Bethany Easterly, and Patricia Ledford; twelve great-grandchildren; as well as several extended family members and friends.
A Celebration of Life and Home going for Patricia Ann Fox Geren will be held on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at 3p.m. from the Cleveland Chapel of Companion Funeral Home with Pastor Dudley Nichols and Pastor Todd Geren officiating. Interment will follow in the Candies Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 12 Noon until the funeral hour on Saturday.
