Ola Mae Mcquerns

Ola Mae McQuerns, age 80, of Georgetown, Tennessee, passed away on May 3, 2023, at Decatur Wellness and Rehab in Decatur, Tennessee, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on November 30, 1942, in Haywood County, North Carolina, to Harold and Glenna (Smith) Murray.

Ola Mae was a remarkable woman who lived life to the fullest. She had a passion for welding and enjoyed shrimping with Bill. Her joy was infectious and she could often be found playing bingo with her friends and family. Above all, she cherished spending time with her family and was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who always put others before herself.

Ola Mae is survived by her sons David (Cheryl) Parton, Mark Parton, Dean Williams, Tim (Shannon) Williams, and daughter Janet Williams. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who were the light of her life.

She was preceded in death by her mother Glenna Murray, father Lee Murray, brother Robert Murray, sisters Mildred Early and Virginia Chambers, and daughter-in-law Christina Williams. Her presence in their lives will be dearly missed, but her love will live on in their hearts forever.

The service is entrusted to Companion Funeral and Cremations Service, Cleveland Chapel. The family will receive friends at Companion Funeral Home - Cleveland on May 10, 2023, from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM on May 10, 2023, at Companion Funeral Home - Cleveland Chapel, with Pastor Guinn Green officiating.
