Norman Harry Krauss

Norman Harry Krauss, 84, a resident of Athens, TN passed away on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at NHC of Athens. He was born on February 24, 1933 in Baltimore Maryland a son of the late Carl Krauss and Marie Burry Krauss. Norman was retired from the United States Navy and went on to work and then retire from Olin Chemical Company.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded by his wife Geraldine Krauss, one daughter Teri Sisson and one son Jerry Krauss.

Norman leaves behind to cherish his memory one son Thomas Krauss of Columbia, SC, two daughters Diane Demko (Michael) of Athens, TN and Marchell Horne of Pensacola, FL, seven grandchildren of Christianne Slater, Ashli Plemons, Cari Bendersky, Jessica Franich, Amber Rooker, Carly Sisson, Hali Horne and two great grandchildren Lyla Bendersky and Caitlyne Franich. He is also survived by numerous other extended family members and a host of special friends.

A graveside service is planned for Friday, February 9, 2018 at 1:00 PM in the McMinn Memory Gardens with Pastor Don Coulter officiating. The service will conclude with full military honors.
