Nora Perry 55, of Lafayette Georgia passed away in her home early Friday morning October 26th 2018. She had been battling lung cancer, and only found out five months ago. A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date. Nora was born in Athens, Ohio to James and Ada Morgan on March 11, 1963. She graduated Westerville North High School and attended Ohio State University. Her professional career as a cross country truck driver lasted 25 years, up until the day she could no longer drive. She received many safe driver awards, and accomplished nearly 3 million safe miles driven. Nora always donated to many charities, and gave to anyone in need that she would come across in her travels. Her favorite charity was toys for tots, but she always donated in her daughter or grandsons name. She was truly selfless and generous. Everything she did, she did for her family. Nora was strong, extremely independent and always up for an adventure. She loved her dog Falco and enjoyed trying to learn to knit. Her two favorite things were taking friends and family on vacations, and sitting around the kitchen table telling stories. Nora never met a stranger and could make you laugh until you cried. She loved family game night with her grand-kids. She loved to read and to watch old movies. Nora was predeceased by her parents James and Ada Morgan and her sister Georgia Morgan. She is survived by her daughter and son in law, Rachel and Jonathan Dempsey, her grandson Ethan Lynch and her granddaughters Kennedy Phillips and Hailey Dempsey. If you would like to send condolences, flowers, or memorial donations, please send to 468 Turman Drive Lafayette Ga, 30728.
