Nina Lynn Newell

Obituary
Nina Lynn Newell, 50, a resident of Etowah, TN passed away on Friday afternoon May 18, 2012 at her home surrounded by her family.  Nina was born in Hollywood, FL a daughter of the late Carlton and Nellie Phillips.  Nina sent most of her life in Florida before relocating to Tennessee about three years ago.  She worked in the restaurant industry for many years.  Nina was truly a person of free spirit and will be remembered forever for being a loving mother and grandmother.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death her husband Howard Newell, one sister Tereasa Eaton, and one brother Dennis Phillips.
Nina leaves behind to cherish her memory two daughters Bonnie Peiffer and Leigh Peiffer and one son Bryan Peiffer, five sisters Barbra Davis (Michael), Priscilla Garate, Carole Keener, Lisa Jordan (Bobby), and Tina Poirier (Richard), three grandchildren, and a host of other extended family members and friends.
The family held a celebration of her life on Saturday, May 19, 2012 at 5:00 PM at her home.
