Obituary
Newell “Ralph” Patterson, 59, a resident of Cleveland, TN passed away on Sunday, July 22, 2012 at his residence. He was born on Sept 5, 1952 in Wyandotte, MI a son of the late Orville and Ruby Patterson. He was a lifelong resident of the Murray County GA and Polk County areas. He was of the Protestant faith. Ralph was a veteran of the United States Army having served in the 101st Airborne. He was an avid fisherman and outdoorsman, loving grandfather, and loved by all those who knew him.
In addition to his parents, Ralph is also preceded in death by one grandchild Raven Black and one brother-in-law Raymond Votaw.
Ralph is survived by his wife Judi Patterson, one daughter Rhiannon Curtis (Dustin), three sons Michael Dean Patterson (Amy), Christopher Adam Patterson, and Jacob Newell Patterson (Valerie), three sisters Sue Sergant, Renee Votaw, and Cathy Crumbley (John) four grandchildren Jacob Payne, Nazareth Curtis, Alexis Patterson, and Brandon Murphy, and numerous other extended family members and friends.
A memorial service is planned for Saturday, July 28, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Mt. Olive Church of God located at 3522 Harrison Pike, Cleveland, TN 37311 with the Reverend Paul Lee officiating.
