Nelson Sampson

Nelson Gregory Sampson, 72, a resident of Cleveland, TN, passed away Friday evening, November 15, 2024, in a local healthcare facility.

He was the son of late John Dewey Sampson Sr. and Anna Sue Sampson. He was also preceded in death by his son's Greg Sampson and Justin Sampson.

Survivors include Nelson's wife- Jeniffer Sampson, they were married November of 1982. Daughter- Tiffany Sampson with Grandson- Braxton Sampson and Granddaughter- Juniper Pankey. Son- Robbie Sampson and his wife- Nikki, with Grandson- Ross Sampson and Granddaughter- Venna Sampson all of Cleveland, TN. Brother- Sonny Sampson and his wife- Teresa with Niece- Amanda Morgan with her husband Jason, and their child Isaac Morgan. Nephew- John David Sampson with his child Mackenzie Hannah-Sampson all of Charleston, TN. Sister- Janet Silvers and her late husband Steve of Old Fort, TN, with Niece- Sharon Norman and her husband Shane and their daughter Savannah Norman of Knoxville, TN.

Nelson loved Jesus very much, reading and studying his Bible any chance he could get. He enjoyed spending time with his family making memories for all. He was always outdoors nature watching and going fishing with his son's and grandson. He was a natural born artist painting nature paintings along with religious paintings leaving his family with hundreds of his artwork for us to treasure for years to come. He retired from Eaton Electrical of Cleveland, TN. He will be truly missed by his family and friends.

A Remembrance of Life grave-side service will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, November 22, 2024, at Boanerges Baptist Church Cemetery with Ladd Springs SDA Church Elder Don Gladden officiating. Following at 2:00 pm will be a memorial service at Ladd Springs SDA off Bates Pike in Cleveland, TN. Friends and Family are welcome to attend.
