Nelson Ortiz-Cruz

Nelson Ortiz-Cruz passed away on October 13th, 2019 at the age of 26 years old in Cleveland, TN. Nelson was born in Vera Cruz, Mexico but immigrated to the United States at a young age along with his family. He was raised in the Cleveland area where he attended Cleveland High School. He was of the Christian Faith and is survived by his two children Anthony Graham-Ortiz, Ariana Ortiz, his parents Jesus and Maria Ortiz, his older brother and sister, Jesus Ortiz Jr. and Sindy Ortiz, his nieces Elizabeth Gomez-Ortiz, Leilanie Gomez-Ortiz, Jazellyn Zuniga, Natalie Ortiz, Mya Ortiz and many close cousins and friends.

Nelson truly lived his life to the fullest and loved his family and friends dearly. He was a proud father who held his children in the center of his heart. He will be missed dearly.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2019 from 10-2p.m. at Companion Funeral Home- Cleveland with a graveside service to follow at Lee Cemetery.
