Nellie Rymer

Nellie Rymer, age 67 of Birchwood, departed this life on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at her residence. Born on February 28, 1954 in McMinn County, she was a longtime resident of Birchwood and was of the Baptist faith. She loved watching westerns, traveling to the beach and the mountains, and spending time with her family.
She is preceded in death by her father, Albert Rymer; mother, Frankie Lee Matthews; and grandson, Logan Kennedy.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her longtime companion, Leon Allison; daughter, Donna Ware; grandson, Tanner Kennedy; siblings, Charlene Beavers(Bill), Freddy Rymer(Penny), Devie Henry, Doug Rymer (Freda), Mike Rymer(Sharon), Tim Rymer, and Sheila Long(Robert); as well as several extended family and a host of friends.
A Celebration of Life and Home going for Nellie Louise Rymer will be held at 2p.m. Sunday, February 20, 2022 in the Cleveland Chapel with Brother Mike Rymer officiating. Interment will follow in the McInturff Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 12 Noon until the funeral hour on Sunday.
