Naomi Dill

Naomi Iris Dill, 89, of Etowah and formerly of Old Fort, TN and Crandall, GA went home to be with the Lord on Monday, January 29,2024. Naomi was born on June 11, 1934 in Woodbury, TN and was adopted by John and Della Long and made her home in Old Fort, TN. Naomi met the love of her life, Woodrow Dill, when she was only 11 years old and was married for 43 years when Woodrow passed away. More than anything, Naomi loved the Lord and her girls- Sandy, Joy, and Cynthia and spent her life devoted to them. Naomi was preceded in death by her parents- John and Della Long, Her husband- Woodrow Dill, Her Grandson- Jason Woodrow Dill, and Her daughter- Joy Dill. She leaves behind her daughter Sandy, her granddaughter, Cynthia (Jonathan) and many close friends to cherish her memory. Naomi loved the Lord and was a faithful member of Chatsworth First United Methodist Church where her service will be held on Sunday, Feb 25, 2024. Visitation will be from 2-3pm and the Memorial Service will start at 3 pm The family encourages all those who attend the service to wear red- Naomi's favorite color.
