Obituary

Nancy Jane Norton, 62, resident of Calhoun, TN passed away at her home on Thursday evening, February 13, 2014. She was born October 22, 1951 to the late Ward Henry and Gladys Exline. She had been a resident of McMinn County for 30 years. She was of the Baptist Faith and a member of Chestuee Baptist Church. Nancy was also in the medical profession serving as a RN for more than 20 years.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her first husband and the father of her children, Danny L. Moats, three sisters Brenda Sue Robinson, Joyce Lorene Seem and Rosemarie Exline and four brothers, Ward Larry Exline, Carl Eugene Exline, James Edward Exline and Earl Nathan Exline.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband, Richard E. Norton, Jr. her children, Gary Moats (Donna), Celina Bradam (Ricky), Aimee Mills (Jeremy), Sarah Song (Sopaul) and Rebecca Brown (Sam). Also her grandchildren, Gary Moats II, Amber Moats, Justin Moats, Brittney Bradam, Austin Bradam, Avery Mills, Max Song, Jack Brown and Titus Brown. She is also survived by two sisters Wendy Lynn Seem of Diamond, OH and Mary Lou Ellen Wallace of Huntsville, AL, one brother Johnnie Lee Exline of Calhoun, TN, numerous other extended family members and a host of special friends.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 16, 2014 from 2:00-4:00 PM at Chestuee Baptist Church located at 1414 Athens Road, Calhoun, TN 37309. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 4:00 PM with interment to follow in the church cemetery.
