Nancy Haynes

Nancy Lillyann Haynes, born August 9th, 1960 in Greenville, Tn and passed through Heavens' gates on October 11th, 2023. She is preceded in death by her mother and father, Jessie and Helen Haynes, and a brother who died at birth.

Nancy moved to Cleveland in 1981 after being accepted into residence at Bradley Cleveland Services now named Life Bridges. In her 40 plus years, she has made many lifetime friends in her community. Nancy was known to always think of others, help wherever she could, and help her caregivers to remember anything they needed to remember. You could always find her not too far away from her forever life partner, Thomas Bland. She and Thomas have been blessed to spend the last 25 plus years together. In 2019, Thomas and Nancy had a commitment ceremony, to one another, in front of their friends and family. Thomas was by her side, holding her hand, and praying her into Heaven.

Left to celebrate Nancy's legacy are life partner, Thomas Bland, Cleveland. Sisters; Jane Haynes: Chuckey, Tn and Barbara(Bill) Jones of Huntsville, AL. Many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Very special caregivers to Nancy; Rhonda Bryant, Sue Phillips, Megan Roberson, Rhonda Mooningham, Jessica Johnson, and so many more friends that treasure the time

There will be a viewing on October 18th from 10am-11am with a short service to follow at Companion Chapel in Cleveland. She will then be transported to Liberty Freewill Baptist Church in Chuckey, Tn to be laid to rest with her parents.
