Nancy Curbow

Nancy Ruth McCollum Curbow, age 85, of Ocoee, TN passed away peacefully at home with her family at her side on Friday, January 26, 2024.

She was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Dwain McCollum, son- David Allen "Al" McCollum, Parents- Polly Booth, Grover Taylor, brother David Taylor and sister Dorothea Ritchie.

She is survived by her loving husband of 31 yrs, Freeman Curbow of Ocoee, son Mike (Tina) Curbow, daughters Tiffany (Mark) Brock and LeeAnn (Tommy)Ledford. Grandchildren: Michael (Tiffany) Curbow, Kayla (Bradley) Braswell, Jessica Latham, Nathaniel (Mikayla) Reagan, Taylor Ledford, and Tommy Ledford. Great grand children: Zoie and Alani Curbow, Sawyer Latham, Bennett Reagan. Sisters: Patti (Chris) Reinert and Brenda Carver, Sister in law: Janie Bowman, and many nieces and nephews.

Nancy was a devoted woman of faith and loved her family dearly. One of her greatest blessings in life was her son, Lt. Al McCollum. Al was with Bradley County Ambulance and Rescue Dept which he gave his life of helping others. She was always so proud of him and all of his accomplishments. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Bradley County Fire and Rescue in honor of Nancy McCollum Curbow and Lt Al McCollum. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Hearth Hospice for their excellent care.

Family will receive friends and family at Shiloh Baptist Church in Ocoee on Monday evening from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm with the funeral following at 7:00 pm. A graveside service will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens at 1:00 pm on Tuesday.
