Nancy Armstrong Martella

Nancy Armstrong Martella, 78, a resident of Cleveland, TN passed away on Wednesday morning, July 5, 2023 in an Athens, TN healthcare facility. She was born in Pennsylvania on January 9, 1945 a daughter of Theodore and Dorothy Armstrong. Nancy working in the banking industry for many years before retirement. She had many hobbies, but most of all enjoyed spending time with her family.

Nancy is preceded in death by her husband Daniel S. Martell, her son Daniel

“Danny” Martella, infant son Anthony Martella and her father Theodore Armstrong.

Nancy leaves behind to cherish her memory her mother Dorothy Yerkes Armstrong, her daughter and son-in-law Kathy & Kevin Posey, two grandchildren Emily Meadows and husband Tyler, and Taylor Posey and wife Sarah, one great grandson Jonah, sister Wendy Wolverton (Clark), numerous other extended family members and a host of special friends.

A graveside service is planned for Thursday, July 13, 2023 at 12:00 PM in the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens with the Reverend Guinn Green officiating.
