Myrtie Franklin "Skip" Keith Jr.

Myrtie (Skip) F. Keith Jr., age 54 of Cleveland, TN passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 29 while working.
Myrtie was born September 4, 1963 to Myrtie F. and Rose M. Keith in Ogdensburg, NY.
Myrtie is survived by his wife of 38 years Tammy (Smaciak) Keith of Cleveland, TN, 2 sons; Myrtie F. Keith III (Tabitha) of Somerset,KY , Christopher Keith Cleveland, TN. Three granddaughters;Katie and Emma Keith of Somerset,KY, Jeanette Contraras of Cleveland, TN.
Myrtie is also survived by 2 sisters; Diane Keith of Trenton, GA, Susan (Donald) Baxter of Ogdensburg, NY; 5 brothers, Brian Keith of Whitwell,TN , William (April) Keith of Ringgold, GA, Michael Keith of Cleveland, TN, Walt (Stella) Keith of Benton, TN, Roger Keith of Ogdensburg, NY.
Myrtie was also survived by his very best friend Gary Webb, many nieces, nephews, Aunts, Uncles, and cousins.
Myrtie was preceded in death by his parents Myrtie F. Keith Sr and Rose M. Lafave and nephew James Keith, and a Great nephew Kamryn Dishaw.
Myrtie was a diesel mechanic. He had owned his own diesel repair shop for many years.
Myrtie enjoyed spending time with his family, his grandchildren, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his friends.
The family will receive friends on Monday night, December 4, 2017 from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM in the funeral home parlor. The funeral will be on Tuesday, Decmeber 5, 2017 at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Rick Ellis officiating. Interment will follow in the Tasso Cemetery.
