Myra Joan Moats

Obituary
Myra Joan Moats, 59, a lifelong resident of Reliance, TN passed away in a Chattanooga, TN hospital on Tuesday, October 16th. Myra was born on February 17, 1953 a daughter of the late Elbert Owens. She was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by a brother Bobby Owens.
Myra is survived by her mother Mary Owens of Cleveland, one son Terry Moats of North Carolina, two brothers Billy Owens of Reliance, TN and Eddy Owens of Chattanooga, TN, and one sister Mary Quarles of Chickamauga, GA, two grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews and other extended family members.
A memorial service is planned for Saturday October 20, 2012 at the Ocoee Baptist Church at 2:00 PM located on York Road in Benton, TN. with the Reverend Jerry Walden and the Reverend Willford Wright officiating. The family will receive friends at the church prior to the memorial service. A private interment will take place in the Greasy Creek Cemetery at a later date.
