Mitchell Stevenson

Mitchell Shane Stevenson, 52, of Cleveland, TN, passed away on February 26, 2025. He was born on December 31, 1972, to Mitchell and Carolyn Stevenson.

Shane enjoyed fishing and camping, riding his motorcycle, and spending time with his grandchildren and his dog, Gage. He had an ability to bring people out of a bad mood with his great sense of humor.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Everett and Naomi Stevenson; maternal grandfather Haskell McNabb; aunt Connie Dunn; and father Mitchell Stevenson.

Shane leaves behind to cherish his memory his maternal grandmother Katheryn McNabb; mother Carolyn Stevenson; son Mitchell Dylan Stevenson; loving companion of 19 years Jeanie Guthrie; siblings: Cheri Ballou, Melissa Stevenson Ramsey (James), and Michael Shawn Stevenson (Jennifer). In addition to these, he leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and five grandchildren: Kelby, Elijah, Lynleigh, Aaden, and Nevaeh and a host of friends.

Shane's family will receive friends from 12pm to 2pm on Tuesday March 4th at the Ridge Chapel of Companion Funeral Home, located at 2412 Georgetown Road NW, Cleveland, TN 37311. A celebration of life service will be held at 2pm. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
