Mildred Janice Nelson

Mildred Janice Nelson, 81, a lifelong resident of Sweetwater, TN passed away on Wednesday morning, February 24, 2021 in a Sweetwater hospital. She was born on January 29, 1940 in Sweetwater, TN a daughter of the late Reverend Theodore & Myrtle Chapman. She was a very dedicated member of North Sweetwater Baptist Church. Mildred enjoyed crafting, quilting, cooking and most of all spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one brother Gene Chapman and two sisters Nelene Hicks and Estella Howell.
Mildred leaves behind to cherish her memory her son Mike Nelson and his wife Margie, three grandchildren Michael Nelson (Ashley), Danielle Nelson and Christopher Nelson, two great grandchildren Aeriana and Kinsley Nelson, numerous other extended family members, church family and a host of special friends.
