Obituary
Mildred Jackson Shaw, 92, a resident of Cleveland, TN passed away on Monday, August 20, 2012 at Morningside of Cleveland. Mildred was born on April 14, 1920 in Philadelphia, PA a daughter of the late James and Laura Jackson. She was of the Roman Catholic faith and a member of St. Therese Catholic Church in Cleveland. Mildred, a native of Philadelphia, PA moved to Cleveland in 1997 and has made that her home ever since.
In addition to her parents, Mildred is preceded in death by her husband Richard J. Shaw Sr. and one sister Irene Coulston.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, two daughters Mildred Massey of Weaverville, NC and Linda Hee (James) of Philadelphia, PA, one son Richard J. Shaw Jr. (Barbara) of Cleveland, TN, two grandchildren Jacquelynn Massey (Tim Healy) and Jennifer Spezia (Anthony III), three great grandchildren Anthony Spezia IV, Dominic Spezia, and Anna Bella Spezia. She is also survived by numerous other extended family members and friends.
A memorial service will be held at a later date in Philadelphia, PA.
