Michael William Magee

Michael William Magee passed away on August 4, 2023, in Cleveland, TN, at the age of 64. Born on October 14, 1958, in New Orleans, LA, Michael was a beloved and brilliant individual whose absence will be deeply felt by all who knew him.

Michael was a beautiful human being, cherished by those around him. He possessed a profound love for music and found solace in jamming sessions with his family. A dreamer and philosopher at heart, Michael had a unique appreciation for the rain, finding beauty and inspiration in its gentle patter.

Left to mourn his loss are his daughters, Kristin Galloway, Hannah Wood, Rebecca Wood, and Holly Wood. He is also survived by his brothers, Erich (Lisa) Magee and Sean (Hayley) Magee, as well as his sister, Cheri (Rick) Cresswell. Additionally, Michael leaves behind several nieces, nephews, and cousins who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.

Michael was preceded in death by his mother, Nann Daughety, and his father, Revice (Max) Magee. Their spirits now reunite with his, providing solace and comfort during this difficult time.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, August 14, at Companion Funeral Home located at 2415 Georgetown Rd NW, Cleveland, TN 37311. The visitation and gathering will commence at 4:00 p.m., followed by a memorial service at 6:00 p.m. This will be an opportunity for friends and family to come together, honor Michael's life, and find solace in each other's presence.

In the wake of Michael's passing, the world has lost a remarkable soul. His memory will forever be cherished, and his absence will be deeply felt.
