Michael W. Bridges, Sr.

Michael W. Bridges, Sr., age 71, of Cleveland, TN, passed away Friday, October 4, 2019, surrounded by family and loved ones. Michael was born on July 20, 1948 in Madison, TN, to the late Dallas and Mae Nell Bridges. He graduated from Maplewood High School in 1966; he graduated from Tomlinson College in Cleveland, TN in 1968, and then from Tennessee Wesleyan College in Athens, TN in 1973. His love for photography led to a career, where he operated Eversharpe Studio for many years, in addition to his ministry and pastoral care that took him from Tennessee to Mississippi and Louisiana, then back to Tennessee.
He was preceded in death by his late wife, Malinda A. Bridges; parents, Dallas M. and Mae Nell Bridges; and sister, Lynelle Bridges.
Mr. Bridges is survived by his wife, Judith A. Bridges; his children, Stephanie B. Smith, Carmen (Heath) Faw, Michael W. (Norma Perich) Bridges, Jr., and Kathryn (Scott) Shubert; grandchildren, Brady Shubert, Molly Smith, Jaxson Shubert and Samantha Shubert; siblings, Danny (Beverly) Bridges and Susan (Steve) Pippin; aunt, Mary Orange; and cousin, Jimmy Orange; and several nephews and neices.


Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 9, 2019 from 4-7 p.m. at Companion Funeral Home, Cleveland,TN. A celebration of his life will be held on Thursday, October 10, 2019 at 1:00 P.M. in the Chapel with burial following at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
