Obituary
Michael “Mike” Kinney, 57, a resident of Cleveland, TN passed away on Wednesday October 19, 2011.
Mike was a native of Murphy, NC and a member of the Westwood Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father Wiley Curtis Kinney, Jr.
Mike is survived by his wife of 20 years, Melissa Moore Kinney of Cleveland, three children; Aaron Kinney, Hannah Kinney, and Will Kinney all of Cleveland, his mother Marian Jones Kinney of Murphy, NC, and one brother Greg Kinney of Matoaka, WV, and other extended family.
The family will hold a Memorial Service at 4:00 PM on Saturday October 22, 2011 at the Westwood Baptist Church located at 4001 Georgetown Rd NW, Cleveland, TN 37312. The Rev. Steve Smartt and the Rev. Jim Caywood will officiate.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial be made to Westwood Baptist Church, Miracle Lake, P.O. Box 327 Etowah, TN 37331, or to the Anchor Pointe Foundation, P.O. Box 3625 Cleveland, TN 37320.
The family will receive friends on Saturday from 2:00 until 4:00 PM at the Church prior to the service.
