Michael Davis Laster

Michael Laster, age 40 of Birchwood, departed this life on Wednesday, February 3, 2021, at his residence after a long illness. Born in Cleveland on March 10, 1980, he was a lifelong resident of Birchwood. He was a master carpenter and accomplished cook. Michael loved music, woodworking, spending time outdoors, and with his family, especially his daughter, Hannah.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Marcella and Charles W. Woody; paternal grandparents, Miriam and Anstie Laster; and an infant sister, Caroline.
Left behind to cherish Michael’s memory are his parents, Carla and Ken Laster; daughter, Hannah Laster; sister Rebecca(Lloyd) Jones, nieces Alicia Laster, Jadiel Tarukwasha, Lillian Tarukwasha, Uncle Charles Woody; and cousins Morgan Woody-Fossett, Lura Cambron, Blane Robert Masters and Maria Letner.
A Celebration of life service for Michael Davis Laster will be held privately at a later date.
