Obituary

Michael C. Carter, 72, a resident of Ooltewah, TN passed away on Saturday afternoon, June 7th, 2014 in a Chattanooga health care facility. Michael was born on November 11th, 1941 in Knoxville, TN a son of the late Elmer & Ruby Carter. Michael was an honorably discharged veteran of the United States Air Force after faithfully serving his country. Michael was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his parents Michael is also preceded in death by his grandparents Mr. & Mrs. J. H. Kilgore and Mr. & Mrs. H. M. Carter.

Michael leaves behind to cherish his memory one sister Sharon James of Ooltewah, TN and one brother Steve Carter and his wife Joy also of Ooltewah. He is also survived by several nieces, nephew, numerous other extended family members and a host of special friends.

There will be no formal services however Michael will be interred in the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
