Michael Bias

Michael Bias, 66, of Chatsworth, GA, Mike met his Lord and Savior face to face peacefully, surrounded by his wife Kathy and other family.  Born in Ashford, WV, Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Katherine Bias.

After retiring from TRCC of Dalton, GA, and almost 40 years of truck driving, Mike found enjoyment on the tractor and caring for his yard. Because of his kind heart and loving way, Mike never met a stranger. His smiling face and natural way of making people laugh, caused people to be drawn to him.

Mike's greatest joy came from his study of God's word and fellowship with his church family of Center Hill Baptist Church.

Preceded in death by Brother, David Bias; Mother-in-Law, Jackie Rogers; and Stepson, Matthew Maynor.

Remaining to love and cherish many happy memories are his Wife of 5 years, Kathy; Son, Jonathan Bias; Stepdaughter, Jennifer (Jason) Fisher; Brother, John Mark (Eula) Bias; and Sister, Dixie (Ronald) Barrick. Also surviving are Father-in-Law, Eushel Rogers; Sisters in Law, Lisa Levin, Vickie Manning, Amy Rogers and Patty Bias; several nieces & nephews. Mike also leaves fur babies Starskey, Luna and Molly. The family wishes to extend a special Thank You to Cassie Sission, Mike's caregiver.

A celebration of Mike's life will be Saturday, August 31, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Center Hill Baptist Church. Pastor Steve Spangler officiating. This would be Mike's parting thought, "Keep the Faith and live for God. I will live on in your hearts until we meet again on the Streets of Gold."
