Obituary
Melvin Leon Letson, 55, a resident of East Ridge, TN passed away on Friday morning, April 26th, 2013 in a local hospital. Melvin was born in Scottsboro, AL on May 11th, 1957 a son of the late Helen White Letson. Melvin was a self-employed painter in the Chattanooga area.
Melvin leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving and devoted wife of thirty seven years Lassie Annette Smith Letson, one daughter Christine Emily Letson, his father James Dallas Letson, one brother James David Letson, three sisters Eloise Shutting, Cheryl Frady and Debra Gothard. He also survived numerous other extended family members and friends.
The family is planning a memorial gathering at the family home on Saturday, May 11th, 2013 at 2:00 PM located at 5403 Marion Avenue in East RIdge, TN 37412.
