Obituary

Melissa Hope Pritt, 47, a resident of Athens, TN passed away on Thursday, December 26th, 2013 at her home. Melissa was born in Rome, GA on August 6th, 1966 a daughter of the late Thomas & Frances Jones. She was of the Holiness faith. Melissa loved singing.

Melissa leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving and devoted husband of twelve years Sherman Pritt, one daughter Jennifer Frances Jones, one son William Jackson Jones, four grandchildren, Gabriel Jones, Michael Jones, DeAndre Smith and Alisha Smith, two sisters Tammy Allen and April Wheaton, three brothers Tommy Jones, Danny Jones and Mark Jones, a special friend Sandra Blayney, numerous other extended family members and a host of special friends.

A graveside service is planned for Monday, December 30th, 2013 at 2:00 PM with the Reverend Harold Carmon officiating.
