Melissa Gail Kirksey Rogers

Missy Kirksey Rogers, 50 of Cleveland, departed this life on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at Tennova Healthcare. Born on November 1, 1970 in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia, she lived most of her life of Bradley County was a hairstylist, cheerleader and played softball in her youth, and enjoyed spending time with her family and caring for her grandson.
She was preceded in death by her father, Bobby Joe Kirksey; maternal grandparents, Ed Hodge and Betty Simpson; and paternal grandparents, Walter and Mary Kirksey
Survivors include her sons, Cody Shelby and Chestin Rogers; grandson, Chestin Dewayne Rogers II; mother and her fiancé, Lynn Cooper and Joseph Hooks; brother, Chris Kirksey; cousin, Beverly Green; several extended family and a host of friends.
A Celebration of the life of Melissa Gail Kirksey Rogers “Missy” will be held privately at a later date.
