Melinda Kay Gentry, 54, of Cleveland, TN, passed away on September 11, 2021, at Tennova Healthcare. Born July 15, 1967, to the late Rex & Peggy Roark in Nashville, TN. She was of the Pentecostal faith and loved going to yard sales, camping, going to church and kayaking.
Melinda is preceded in death by her parents, Rex & Peggy Roark; brother, Anthony Hawkins; and sister, Rita F. Looper.
Survived by her children, Lori Gentry & Jamie Bournes; siblings, Jeff (Sheila) Hawkins, Carla (Mike) Mullinax, Tim (Melissa) Roark, Joe Roark, Hubert & Aaron Roark.
Visitation will be held, Tuesday, September 14, 2021, from 6:00 PM-8:00 PM at Victory Faith Church, 1253 King Edward Ave Se, Cleveland, TN, 37311, followed by a memorial service at 8:00 PM. Arrangements by Companion Funeral Home- Cleveland, TN.
