Melinda Gail Denton

Melinda Gail Denton, 46, a resident of Madisonville, TN passed away on Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at UT Medical Center in Knoxville, TN. She was born in Bryan, TX on February 25, 1974. Melinda loved animals and spending time with her family and friends. She will forever be remembered as a very loving and giving person.
She is preceded in death by her husband Timothy Denton, daughter Catrina Henry, mother Carolyn Midgley Smith, step father Ronald Smith, sister Tara Petty, niece Courtney DeBoard and brother-in-law Michael DeBoard.
Melinda leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughter Terri Harrill and her husband William, grandchildren Liam Henry, Melena Wilson and Zamari White, son-in-law William Henry (Haley) and their children Sophia, Greg and Emmitt, one sister Kim Lind (Jeff), one brother William Petty (Diane), special and close friends: Melinda & Kenneth Wilson, Windy & Steve Burrell and their children Stephanie, Deborah, Claudia and Taylor, numerous other extend family members and a host of friends.
The family would like to thank the staff of UT hospital of Knoxville for the excellent care provided to Melinda and her family.
