Maynard Ray Goforth

Maynard Ray Goforth, 73, a lifelong resident of Decatur, TN went to his Heavenly home on Saturday, July 28, 2018. Maynard was born on October 7, 1944 in Decatur, TN a son of the late Luke & Bonnie Goforth. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, Maynard is preceded in death by two sons Monty Goforth and Marcus Goforth and two brothers Wayne Goforth and Bernard Goforth.
Maynard leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving and devoted wife of 28 years Nancy Goforth, two step daughters Helen (Steve) Breedwell and Karen (Todd) Crisp, three sons Tony (Donna) Goforth, Bobby (Tammy) Goforth and Marty (Brenda) Goforth, fourteen grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, one sister Shirley Littleton, numerous other extended family members and a host of special friends.
At his request a private graveside service was held Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at Decatur Cemetery with son Marty Goforth officiating.
