Maude Alene Wetherbee Walker, 85, passed away on March 13, 2025. She was born to the late Josephine Oldham Wetherbee Dyer and Eddie Western Wetherbee on July 12, 1939 in Grafton, Ohio.
Maude moved to Rhea county when she was a small child. She was a long time member of Old Washington Baptist Church, where she faithfully served the Lord for many years. She enjoyed singing gospel music, fishing, being a wife, mother, and "Nanaw" to her grandbabies.
In addition to her parents, Maude is preceded in death by her husband, Claude Anderson Walker, daughter, Claudine Walker Begunich, grandchild, Tonette Faith Laher, siblings, J.W. Wetherbee, Billy Wetherbee, Jack Wetherbee. L.E. Wetherbee, Steve Wetherbee, Lyvonne Anderson, and Marcella Eddings.
Maude is survived by her daughter, Teresa Jean (Keith) Laher, grandchildren, Justin McDaniel, Tristin (Vanna) Laher, Kelsi (Josh Eastman) Begunich, brother Gene Wetherbee, great-grandchildren, Kerstin (Cory) Kiest, Jackson McDaniel, Precious Perry, Everly McDaniel, Wylie Gean Laher, great-great-grandchildren, Monroe Swafford, Rebel, Octavia, Western Motley, Moxie-Rue, and Huxley Kiest, very special nephew, Eddie Wayne Smith, and many more great nieces and nephews.
