Matthew Guisinger

Matthew Dean Guisinger, 69, of Cleveland, TN passed away on May 29, 2025. He was born on December 17, 1955 to the late Richard and Eula Guisinger.

Matthew worked at Lee University for the last 10 years and prior to that was employed at Brown Stove works for 41 years. He was a very hard worker who loved staying busy. He loved dogs, the Bible, and Andy Griffith. Above all, he loved his family and his girls dearly. He enjoyed helping people, drinking coffee and being friendly with others.

In addition to his mother and father, he is preceded in death by his sisters Lola Juarez, Lynn Guisinger.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of 51 years, Linda Guisinger; children: Faith Guisinger Bolen (Paul), Candace Hope Weir (Christopher); grandchildren: Tiffany Bolen Grabowski (Mitchell), Kylee Weir, Ashlyn Weir.

His family will receive friends from 2pm until 4pm on Sunday June 1st at Hopewell Church of God. A celebration of life service will follow at 4pm at Hopewell Church of God with Pastor Clifford Waters officiating. He will be laid to rest following the service at Mt. Olive Church of God Cemetery. Matthew's family requests that bright and colorful attire is worn in honor of the Celebration taking place.
