Matthew Andrew "Matt" Mckamey

Matthew Andrew “Matt” McKamey, 24 a lifelong resident of Hamilton County passed away on Friday, January 20th, 2017 at his home. Matt was born on March 26th, 1992 in Chattanooga, TN. He attend Collegedale Academy. Matt was a skilled landscaper and irrigation installer with his father’s company McKamey Landscapes. He enjoyed being outdoors, was an avid animal lover, loved visiting national parks and taking trips with his family.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Floyd & Jurlene McKamey.
Matt leaves behind to cherish his memory his father James Arnold McKamey and his mother Kathy Louise Martin one sister Monica Desjardins, maternal grandparents Fred & Eugenia Martin, aunts Sherlene Poole and Debbie Weeks, numerous other extended family members and a host of special friends.
A celebration of his life is planned for Friday, January 27th, 2017 at 1:00 PM at the Collegedale Community Church located at 9305 Four Corners Place in Collegedale, TN with Pastor Jerry Arnold officiating. Interment will follow in the Collegedale Memorial Park Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the church on Friday from 12:00 PM until the 1:00 PM service time.
In lieu of flowers the, donations can be made to his family to help offset expenses during this difficult time. Any donations received, that are not used to go towards incurred expenses will be donated to Collegedale Community Church.
