Masico Hudson, beloved father, husband, brother, and friend, passed away on January 15, 2025, at the age of 65 in Cleveland, Tennessee. He was born on August 20, 1959, in St. Louis, Missouri.
Masico dedicated much of his life to the culinary arts. As a cook at Spoony's Restaurant, he found joy in preparing meals that nourished not only the body but also the hearts of family and friends. Cooking was his way of expressing love, and he cherished the moments spent gathering around the table, sharing stories, laughter, and delicious food.
Masico was preceded in death by: (mother)Vernelia Hudson/Mills, (sister)Barbara Hudson, (sister)Janet Carter, (daughter)Sharita Smith.
He is survived by his loving spouse, Kimberly Hudson; his daughters, Marcia Hudson and Tiffany Smith; his son, Kenneth Jackson; his brothers, Emanuel and Justin Hudson; his sister, Allenda Hudson; and his sister, Lisa Hudson/Orr (Lonnie). 12 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephew and cousins. Masico was a devoted family man who found immense joy in the company of his loved ones.
Masico had a special bond with his dog, Prince, who brought him great happiness and companionship. In quiet moments, Masico could often be found enjoying the simple pleasures of life, whether it was taking walks with Prince or experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen.
Masico Hudson will be remembered for his warm spirit, the love he shared through his cooking, and the lasting memories he created with those he cherished. His legacy will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate to know him.
Cremation arrangements have been made, and his family will honor his memory in the days to come.
