,Mary Swafford Watson

Mary Swafford Watson, age 81 of Cleveland, departed this life on Sunday, February 7, 2021 at her residence. Born on November 10, 1939 to the late Isom and Lula Swafford, she was of the Baptist faith and owned Parkway Tire Center with her husband, Grover Watson. Mary loved gardening, traveling and spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Grover Watson; and several siblings.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her children, Nancy(Steve) Spraker, Pamela Watson, and Tony Watson; grandchildren, Shannon(Tony) Arthur, Jeremy Spraker, Jason Spraker, Grover(Niky) Watson, Mary(Josh) Lemon, Sarah Watson, Emily Watson, and Katie Watson; sister, Eleanor(Roy) Leatherwood; and brother, Edgar(Lorene) Swafford. Several nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of friends also survive.
A gathering of friends will be held from 5-7p.m. Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at the Cleveland Chapel of Companion Funeral Home. Burial will be private.
