Mary Ruth Jones

Mary Ruth Jones, 75, a resident of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday July 11, 2018. Mary was born on February 19, 1943 to the late Charlie & Edna Goforth. She will be dearly missed by all that knew her.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Travis Jones; grandson, Timothy Moody; and siblings, Linda Rue, Margaret Bates, Geraldine Waters, Nancy Gaston, and Peggy Hall.
Mary leaves behind to cherish her memory, her loving children, Travis Jones Jr. (Tanya) and Julie Moody; grandchildren, Shaun Moody, Jonathan Jones, and John Paul Jones; great-grandchildren, Hailey Jones, Robin Jones, Matthew Jones, Logan Jones, and Trapper Jones; and siblings, David Goforth and Elizabeth Pierce (Eddie)
The family will receive friends on Friday July 13, 2018 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at Companion Funeral Home, located at 2419 Georgetown Road NW, Cleveland, TN 37311.
A celebration of life funeral service will be held at 10:00am on Saturday July 14, 2018 at the funeral home, with Reverend Homer Roberts officiating.
Following the service, Mary will be laid to rest in the Archville Baptist Church Cemetery, in Greasy Creek.
