Mary Mowery

Mary Pearl Mowery, 75, of Cleveland, TN, peacefully passed away on October 29, 2023, at her residence. She was born on May 15, 1948, in Cleveland, TN, to the late Elbert and Ada Stewart. Mary was a dedicated homemaker who poured her love and energy into creating a warm and nurturing environment for her family.

Her love and devotion to her family knew no bounds, and she cherished her role as a wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Mary is survived by her beloved husband of 54 years, James Mowery, who stood beside her through thick and thin.

Mary's memory lives on through her children: James Mowery Jr. (Gwen), Joyce Goins (Tim), Lois Mowery, and Beverly Gibson. She found immeasurable joy in her seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, who were a constant source of love and happiness in her life. Mary was also close to her sister-in-law, Vickie Mowery, who shared in her joys and sorrows.

In her free time, Mary found solace in completing crossword puzzles and adored the company of her beloved bird, "Peaches." She touched the lives of all who knew her, leaving behind cherished memories that will be treasured forever.
