Mary Maxine Hambright

Obituary
Maxine Hambright, 76, of Cleveland, departed this life to meet her personal Savior on January 12, 2012, at her home.  Her last days were spent surrounded by her family and friends. She was a devoted wife, mother, mamaw, and friend.   She was a life time resident of Bradley County and a member of Philippi Baptist Church.   She worked for First Baptist Church as a pre-school teacher for several years, but most of her life was devoted to raising her children and grandchildren.  She had a great love for traveling and was a member of the Home Demonstration Club for many years.   She is preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Ida Flowers; brother and sister-in-law, Owen and Josie Flowers; and cherished son, Keith Hambright. Survivors include her husband of 56 years, John Hambright;  one son Mike Hambright and one daughter Beth Hambright; grandchildren Laurie Hambright and Chris Hambright and wife Tanya, and several extended family members and friends. The family will receive friends Saturday, January 14th, from 4pm - 7pm at Philippi Baptist Church and the funeral will be at 7pm with Dr Sam Hooker officiating.Serving as pallbearers will be Fred Mull, Freeman Curbow, Pastor Bob Zwarych, Jerry Mull, John Elliott, and Jeff Knight. The processional will begin on Sunday at 2pm at Philippi Baptist Church and p;roceed to the Hambright Cemetary in McMinn County, TN for a 2:45 interment.
