Mary Lou Coffey

Mary Lou Coffey, 76, of Ocoee, TN passed away on June 19, 2023. She was born on March 4, 1947 to the late Charles and Ella Mae Allen. Mary enjoyed spending time with the people she loved, whether it was in person or talking to them on the phone. She also enjoyed watching game shows and enjoying her morning cup of coffee. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Mary was a member of Community Baptist Church in Farner, TN.

In addition to her mother and father, she is preceded in death by her husband Don Coffey; siblings: Willis Allen, Kenneth Allen, Albert Allen, and Dorothy Prince.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her children Sheila Goins (Tim Stinnett) and Johnny Coffey; granddaughter Cayla Goins (fiancé Nathaniel Bennett) and Jaylin Grant; siblings Randall Allen, Omalee Conner, Judy Wooten, Daniel Allen, Junior Allen, stepmother Betty Allen.

In addition to these she leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Mary Lou’s family will receive friends from 12pm until 2pm on Friday June 23rd at the Cleveland Chapel of Companion Funeral Home. A celebration of her life will be held at 2pm with Pastor Mitchell Allen officiating. She will be laid to rest following the service at Lebanon Baptist Church Cemetery.
