Mary Lee White

Mary Lee White, 93, of Cleveland, TN passed away on October 20, 2018. She was born on March 23, 1925 to the late Raymond D. and Velma W. Parks. Mary was a lifelong resident of this area and of the Baptist Faith. She was an active member of Macedonia Baptist Church where she quilted with the Lord’s Stitchers. In addition to quilting, Mary loved flowers and was known for her green thumb. She also enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, crocheting, and was a caregiver to her late husband Cecil for many years. In the 1950s she managed the Mobile Library for the community and was also active in the Home Demonstration Club.

In addition to her mother and father, she is preceded in death by her husband Cecil White; siblings: Fannie Parks, Elaine Parks, and J.M. Parks; granddaughter Michelle Bolduc; son in law Tommy Morrow.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her children: Nadine Arms (Jerry), Karen Morrow, Dennis White (Ruthie), and Wade White (Connie); grandchildren: Matthew White, Kimberly Tucker, Christopher Bolduc; great grandchildren: Parker White, Caleb Tucker, Bailey Tucker, Jackson Tucker, and Amanda Bolduc.

The family will receive friends from 11:00am until 1:00pm on Wednesday October 24, 2018 at Companion Funeral Home located at 2419 Georgetown RD NW, Cleveland, TN 37311. A service will be held at 1:00pm at the funeral home with Rev. Michael Cawood officiating. Interment will follow the service at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
