Mary J Mantooth

Mary J. Mantooth, beloved wife of Doug Mantooth, went to be with her lord and savior on July 6, 2023, at Erlanger, surrounded by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carson and Charity Freeman, her husband Doug Mantooth, and her sister Janice Freeman.

Mary's loving presence will be deeply missed by her Goddaughter, Amber (Alex) Cruz, and her four grandchildren: Taneyah, Camden, Xander, and Xavier, all from Powell, TN. She also leaves behind her niece Danielle Mantooth, along with her great-niece Payton and great-nephew Cooper, all from Cleveland, TN. Mary's brother-in-law, Dany (Loretta) Mantooth, and her mother-in-law, Doris Mantooth, of Cleveland, TN, will cherish her memory. Additionally, her niece Amy Locklear from Lumberton, NC, shared a special bond with her.

A service to celebrate Mary's life will be held on July 22nd. Visitation will take place from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by the service at 2:00 PM at the Companion of Cleveland Chapel with Rev. Mike Shuford officiating.

Mary’s radiant smile brightened the lives of many, and her spirit touched more people than we will ever know. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered. May she find eternal peace.
