Mary Francis Lamb

Mary Francis Lamb, 88, of Cleveland, TN, went to rejoice in heaven on March 24, 2021 peacefully surround by family. Born April 5, 1932 in North Carolina to the late Bill & Gertrude Miller. Mary retired from Hardwick Clothes and was a member of Chestuee Baptist Church and New Beginnings Church. She loved gardening, traveling and Sunday dinners with family.

Preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Willie Detiz and Faye King; brothers, Wayne & Joe Miller; infant children, Brenda, Michael, and Gail; adult daughter, Rita Pike; grandchildren, Tracy Byers, Kenneth Huntsinger and Ethan Haney.

Survived by her daughters, Teresa Sherrill, Of Athens and Robin Marchant, of Cleveland; sisters, Irene & Ivy; 8 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great grandchildren. Thanks to granddaughter Christy Marchant Mize for always being there; great-granddaughter, Sabrina Stewart for the care at death; Amedisys Hospice for helping us get her home and last but most definitely, her best friend and sister at heart, Janice Toomey for the travel and friendship she shared.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at New Beginnings Church. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday at the church with a burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
