Mary Frances Mcintyre

Mary Frances Ledford McIntyre, 80, a lifelong resident of McDonald, TN passed away on Saturday night, October 1st, 2016 in a local health care facility. She was born on April 27th, 1936 a daughter of the late Reverend L. V. & Eula Mae Ledford. Mary was a gifted pianist and served many churches over the years. She loved flowers, hanging wallpaper but most of all enjoyed being a homemaker and taking care of her family.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one sister Jessie Taylor, two brothers Leroy Ledford and Gene Ledford and one great grandson Jeremiah McIntyre.
Mary leaves behind to cherish her memory five children Joyce Welch (John) of Cleveland, TN, Donna Brown (Rickie) of McDonald, TN, Pam Foley (Bob), Cindy Nelson (Danny) all of Cleveland, TN and Jeff Green (Mary) of Ooltewah, TN, one sister Alice Ledford Wheeler (Robert) of McDonald, TN, two brothers Reverend Winston Ledford (Louise) and Larry Ledford both of Cleveland, TN, sister in law Irene Ledford, eight grandchildren Michelle Hensley, Dale McIntyre, Nichole Stansberry, Jeremy McIntyre, Heather Foley, Dustan Nelson, Lauren Green and Caleb Green, thirteen great grandchildren Austin Welch, Chase McIntyre, Jayden McIntyre, Lexi Nelson, Leland Nelson, Canaan Nelson, Cambrin Nelson, Jaxson Green, Kylie Green, Peyton Green, Dakota Edwards, Brandon Hobock and Jennifer Nelson, three great great grandchildren Jaston Burris, Braylon & Braxton Nelson, numerous other extended family members and a host of special friends.
A celebration of her life is planned for Tuesday, October 4th, 2016 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Companion Funeral Home located at 2419 Georgetown Road NW in Cleveland, TN with the Reverend Johnny Cain officiating. Interment will follow in the Pine Hill Cumberland Presbyterian Cemetery in McDonald, TN. Bobby Taylor, Donnie Taylor, Timmy Ledford, Terry Ledford, Randy Williams, John Siewert and Rickie Brown serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends on Monday evening, October 3rd, 2016 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM in the funeral home parlor and also one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.
