Mary Finley

Mary Finley, 84, of Cleveland, TN passed away on November 15, 2022. She was born on December 5, 1937 to the late Robert and Retta McClure of Benton. Mary was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed gardening, traveling to the Great Smoky Mountains, and was a gifted cook who enjoyed making meals and chocolate chip cookies for her friends and family. Taking care of her family was what she enjoyed most.

In addition to her mother and father, she is preceded in death by her first husband Clyde Calfee, Jr.; daughter, Margaret Calfee Maynard; sister-in-law, Janette McClure.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband of nearly 42 years, Robert Finley, Sr.; daughter, Martha Calfee; siblings: Charles McClure (Bobbie), Clarence McClure (Patsy), Ruth Ann Kersey (Jackie); niece, Jane Paxton (Greg); great-nephew, Will Paxton; son-in-law Chip Maynard; grandchildren: Frankie Gallian (Will), Richard Maynard (Cari), six great-grandchildren; step-children: Darlene Capps (Steve), Robbie Finley (Gail), Laraine Hayslett (Benny), and Ralph Finley; six step-grandchildren. In addition to these, she leaves behind numerous extended family members and friends.

A graveside service for Mary will be held at 12:00pm on Saturday, November 19th at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Rev. Jimmy Dunn and Tanner Calfee will be officiating. Chip Maynard, Richard Maynard, Greg Paxton, Will Paxton, Benji Calfee, and John Kincaid will serve as pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Donnie Calfee, William Gallian, Robbie Finley, Ralph Finley, Paul Hall, and Mark Freeman.
